These pages are dedicated to the people and animals in my life.
One of my best friends is my dog, Bronson. He's a 6 year old purebred long-haired German Shepherd. We've had him since he was 8 weeks old. He's got the most wonderful nature and I don't think I'll ever have another dog like him. He's got a heart of gold and a bark that would make just about anyone think twice about entering our yard. His favourite thing in life is his fortnightly dogwashes with Canberra Canine Services. He's one of the few dogs that I know who actually runs and leaps into his bath. Funny animal.
At the Creekside German Shepherds site, there is a beautiful poem about dogs.
Bronson's best friend in the whole wide world is a scruffy, scrawny looking 18 month old cat called Rocky. Rocky's favourite thing in life is food - and lots of it. Rocky's favourite past time is luring the stray cats into our back yard, so that his best friend Bronson can bark at them and make their fur stand on end.
We've also now got two male guinea pigs - Tommy and Chucky. And a fishtank full (sort of) of tropical fish and lots of slime.
My husband, François, and I have been married for 8 years. We have a beautiful daughter, Amy Julya Helene. We also have a son, Benjamin Jean Eric, who died the day that he was born.
François is a systems instructor specialising in MicroSoft Technical courses. He really enjoys his job even though it often takes him away from home.
Our son, Ben was born 5 September, 1992 at 2.30 pm. He died at around 11pm. He was born with a rare congenital heart defect - Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Return/Drainage.
Amy was born on 22 February 1994. She is now at preschool and loving every minute of it. She also has swimming lessons on Tuesdays.
My mum and dad live about 1/2 hour away from our new home. We spent 3 years living in a renovated machinery shed on their Farm. Dad is my partner in crime with the genealogy.
My 'little' sister, Melissa, and her husband, Les, own a property up near Murrurundi, NSW. Les works at a nearby mine and Melissa is currently working at the NSW Stockhorse Association part-time.
